Covid Narratives offers a creative outlet for people to tell their story in their own words. Covid-19 has had a profound impact on millions of people around the world. Our aim is to document this unique shared experience in written form and to collect real life stories that capture how it feels to live during these unusual times.
Whether you are a nine year old child or seventy year old grandparent, a healthcare practitioner, shopkeeper, business owner, delivery driver or lone parent , we want to hear your personal story!
How has Covid-19 affected you? What has been the biggest change? Have your experiences been positive, illuminating, scary, lonely? Imagine yourself in 20 or 30 years time. Have you had any revelations about yourself? What memories of this time would you like to keep (or forget?)
Everybody has a story to tell - why not tell yours?
Tell us your story in your own words. You could write about your experience during the global health pandemic or focus on a specific area, such as how it has affected your work or studies, family life, relationships or emotional well-being.
If you're feeling poetic or have always had a passion for poetry, why not write about your thoughts and feelings in poetic form?
Feel free to be as creative as you wish.
Once this is all over, we hope to publish your stories and poems on the website and in a book. We welcome writers from different parts of the world, both young and old, to give their perspective of the health crisis.
